Ingredients

  • 1 pkt (16 ounces) white cake mix
  • 1 pt chocolate ice cream
  • 1 pt strawberry ice cream
  • 1 pt whipping cream
  • 1/4 c. sugar maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix cake as directed on package. Spread batter in a well-greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 55 to 60 min, or possibly till cake tests done with a toothpick. Cold 20 min, then remove from pan.
  2. When completely cold, split cake into 3 thin layers. Spread softened chocolate ice cream between bottom and middle layers, and softened strawberry ice cream between middle and top layers. Freeze till ice cream is hard. Whip cream till stiff; add in sugar. Spread on sides and top of loaf. Decorate with cherries. Serve at once or possibly store in freezer for 4 weeks.
