Still have left-over turkey??

Me too! Try this recipe for delicious hot turkey sandwiches, made in your slow-cooker.

About 25 years ago I attended an outdoor wedding, a picnic style wedding really, where the brides family made all the food that was served. When I tasted these delicious sandwiches, I knew I had to have the recipe. I asked around but no one at the wedding knew who made the sandwiches. Darn it!

A few days later I received the recipe in the mail, with a short note attached. The recipe came from the brides grandmother, who owned a restaurant and served these sandwiches, open-face style, in her restaurant. I have been making these sandwiches ever since.

Hot Turkey Sandwiches have made an appearance at; graduation parties, birthday parties, retirement parties, first communion, baptisms and just for the heck of it:) You can use left-over holiday turkey or you can purchase a turkey, make the turkey in an oven bag and use all the turkey for the sandwiches. Read on for both recipes~
