Ingredients
- 3/4 cup good chili powder (Gephardt's or Mexene)
- (I mix together ancho, guajillo, and chipotle powders.)
- 2 tbs. ground cumin
- 2 tbs. dry oregano
- 2 tbs. onion powder
- 1 tbs. garlic powder
- 2 tbs. seasoned salt
- 1 tbs. pepper
- pinch of cayenne pepper

Homemade Chili Seasoning
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, except the garlic powder, in a skillet, turn heat on high and cook until the mixture becomes fragrant and starts to smoke, 20-30 seconds.
- Let cool, add garlic, mix well.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Make about 1 1/3 cups.
- I use 1 1/2 - 2 tbs. per 1 lb. of ground beef.
