Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup Progresso® Italian Style Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1lb. lean ground beef
  • Topping
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Home-Style Meat Loaf

Time: 20 minutes prep, 80 minutes cook
Servings: 6 Servings
 

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. In large bowl, combine all meat loaf ingredients; mix well.
  3. Press mixture in ungreased 8x4-inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F. for 40 minutes.
  5. Step 2
  6. Remove meat loaf from oven.
  7. Spread 1/4 cup ketchup evenly over top.
  8. Return to oven; bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 160°F. and beef is thoroughly cooked.
  9. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
