Hazelnut mantecados

Ingredients

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 200g hazelnuts (please use unroasted and unshelled hazelnuts where possible. Shelling and roasting them is not such a great effort and the flavor is much better. If you don't like hazelnuts, you can use almonds.)
  • 150g powdered sugar
  • 100g good quality pork lard
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • A dash of olive oil
