Hamburger Quiche

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound grnd beef
  • 1 c. onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie shell

Hamburger Quiche

Directions

  1. Saute/fry beef and onion in butter till onion is soft. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. In separate bowl, blend lowfat milk, Large eggs, and Worcestershire sauce together. Add in 1 c. cheese. Combine with beef mix. Pour into shell. Sprinkle remaining 1 c. cheese over top. Bake in warm 425 degree oven for 20 to 25 min or possibly till set. Let stand 8 to 10 min before cutting into wedges. Enjoy!
