Hamburger Hash Brown Hot Dish Recipe

  • 4 c. frzn hash browns
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 med. onion
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 6 slices process cheese spread
  • 1 (3 ounce.) can French fried onions

Directions

  1. Cover bottom of 9 x 13 inch glass pan which has been buttered with shredded hash browns. Brown hamburger and onion in frying pan. Drain off fat. Place hamburger and onion on top of hash browns. Salt and pepper to taste. Spread peas over hamburger.
  2. Mix cream of mushroom soup and lowfat milk in bowl, pour over the hash browns, meat and veggies. Place cheese on top and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Remove foil and sprinkle French fried onions on top. Turn off oven and leave in oven for 15 min.
