Ingredients

  • 2 lb lean grnd beef
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 2 x cloves garlic chopped (or possibly 1/4 tsp. garlic pwdr) Salt to taste
  • 2 x 8 ounce. cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 1/2 tsp dry oregano
  • 2 x 8 ounce. Packages cream cheese cut in cubes
  • 2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp chili pwdr

Directions

  1. In skillet, brown grnd beef with onion; drain. Pour browned meat and onion into Crock-Pot. Add in garlic, salt, tomato sauce, ketchup, oregano, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chili pwdr. Set Crock-Pot on Low till cream cheese has melted and is thoroughly blended, 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Stir; serve with cube French bread or possibly tortilla chips.
