  • 1 pound lean grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 c. minced mushrooms
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. tomato paste
  • 3/4 c. hot water
  • 2 tbsp. cooking sherry
  • 1 c. low-fat vanilla yogurt

Directions

  1. Brown beef in skillet with onions and garlic. When beef is brown, rinse slightly with a little water and drain; add in mushrooms and pepper. Stir in tomato paste and water. Cook over high heat for 5 min, stirring occasionally. Turn stove to low, add in yogurt and sherry. Cook at low heat for 10 min. Serve over 1/2 c. egg noodles.
  2. Serves 4.
