Ingredients

  • tuna steaks light teriyaki sauce ginger minced garlic

Directions

  1. I usually marinate mine in some light teriyaki sauce with some ginger and minced garlic. Then I grill it on an indoor grill-even though its usually warm here in so. fl (although not today), and it always comes out great. I have a piece of salmon waiting for the same treatment for tonights dinner.

  3. NOTES : We are fortunate around here to have access to fresh tuna pretty much any time of the year. I like to either marinate it in Italian dressing and then grill it, or possibly rub with spices and pan sear it. In either case, do not overcook it. Tuna should be (in my opinion) med rare to med well, no more than which.
  4. The length of time depends on how thick the steak is. I use the Canadian rule of 10 mins per inch., again it depends on the method your using to cook it.
  5. I like to serve the tuna with sauteed onions, mashed potatoes
