  • 4 x loin pork chops, 1 1/2" thick Juice from 1/2 lemon Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste Garlic salt to taste Extra virgin olive oil Bottled barbecue sauce not too thick, nor spicy nor sweet

Directions

  1. Place chops in glass dish, and squeeze lemon juice on both sides, then sprinkle both sides with seasonings. Cover and set aside to marinate for 1 hour at room temperature.
  2. Preheat grill on high. Brush chops lightly on both sides with oil and sear for 2 min with lid closed. Turn chops and brush with barbecue sauce. Close lid and cook another 2 min. Turn chops and brush with sauce, close lid and cook 6 min. Turn and cook another 6 min. They will turn a reddish-brown and be more hard when cooked.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
