This is a very nice chiffon cake - not a lot of flour, appears to be ultra light - and the Green Tea! Wow!
%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMethod:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20170C%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESift%20flour%20and%20green%20tea%20powder%20together%20twice.%20Combine%20egg%20yolks%20and%20sugar%20in%20a%20bowl%20and%20mix%20well.%20Add%20water%20and%20corn%20oil%20and%20blend%20together.%20Add%20flour%20and%20green%20tea%20powder%20mixture%20and%20mix%20until%20batter%20becomes%20sticky.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%20meringue%20~%20Combine%20sugar%20and%20corn%20flour.%20Beat%20egg%20whites%20until%20foamy.%20Add%20half%20the%20sugar%20and%20flour%20mixture%20and%20continue%20beating%20for%20a%20few%20minutes,%20then%20add%20remaining%20sugar%20and%20flour%20mixture%20and%20beat%20until%20egg%20whites%20are%20glossy,%20with%20stiff%20peaks.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E**Add%20one%20third%20of%20meringue%20to%20egg%20yolk%20mixture%20and%20fold%20in%20lightly,%20then%20add%20remaining%20meringue%20and%20fold%20to%20incorporate%20completely.%20**I've%20changed%20this%20method%20the%20other%20way%20round%20~%20Slowly%20pour%20all%20the%20egg%20mixture%20into%20the%20meringue%20at%20low%20speed%20then%20stop%20machine.%20Using%20a%20rubber%20spatula%20and%20fold%20the%20mixture%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20batter%20into%20an%20ungreased%2020cm%20chiffon%20cake%20pan.%20Place%20in%20the%20oven%20and%20bake%20for%2050%20minutes%20then%20switch%20oven%20to%20lower%20grill%20for%205%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20cake%20is%20done,%20remove%20from%20oven%20and%20turn%20the%20pan%20over.%20Leave%20cake%20to%20cool%20in%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20cake%20has%20cooled%20completely,%20carefully%20run%20a%20knife%20or%20spatula%20around%20the%20sides%20of%20the%20cake%20to%20loosen%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E**slowly%20pour%20egg%20mixture%20into%20the%20meringue%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEnjoy!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
