Ingredients

  • 2 ounce Freeze-Dry Beef, Or possibly
  • 4 ounce Beef-Flavored TablespoonsV.P. Granules
  • 8 ounce Spinach Egg Noodles
  • 2 ounce Tomato Crystals
  • 4 x Beef Bouillon Cubes, Or possibly
  • 1/4 c. Beef Bouillon Granules
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 c. Dry Bell Pepper
  • 1 env Cream Of Onion Soup Mix to make 2 1/2 c.
  • 7 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 pkt Lowfat sour cream Mix -- optional

Directions

  1. 1. Bring 7 c. water to a boil. Add in all ingredients except soup mix and lowfat sour cream mix. Simmer for 10 min.
  2. 2. Mix sould mix with 1/2 c. cool water. Add in to pot and simmer for 5-10 min longer, or possibly till noodles and meat are tender.
  3. 3. If lowfat sour cream is used stir in just before serving.
  4. Makes about 8 c..
  5. Variation:a. Canned roast beef may be substituted. Use one less bouillion cube.
