Directions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix all ingredients in large bowl and beat till smooth. Makes 3 layers. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 min or possibly till hard.
  2. Cream butter and salt. Add in part of sugar, blending after each addition till smooth and creamy. Blend in vanilla. Spread icing between layers and outside of cake.
