Ginataang Sigarilyas at Tinapa

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo Sigarilyas, sliced 1/2 inch thick
  • 1 cup tinapa flakes (smoked fish)
  • 1 med onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • salt and pepper to taste

Ginataang Sigarilyas at Tinapa

 
 

Directions

  1. Saute onion, garlic on hot canola oil.
  2. Add tinapa flakes and stir fry.
  3. Add the vegetables and stir fry for a couple of minutes.
  4. Pour in the coconut milk and let it simmer.
  5. Let the vegetables absorb the coconut milk.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. When liquid is almost out in the pan, add the coconut cream and let it simmer until the cream is fully absorbed in the dish.
  8. Serve with steamed rice.

Sigarilyas is a vegetable that I used here. Sauted with tinapa flakes and coconut cream. Yumm!
