German Chocolate Carmamel Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 14 ounce Pk caramels
  • 2/3 c. Evaporated lowfat milk, divided
  • 18 1/4 ounce German chocolate cake mix
  • 2/3 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
  • 1 c. (6 ounce) chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Heat caramels in a double boiler oe microwave. Stir in 1/3 c. lowfat milk and set aside. In a mixing bowl,combine cake mix butter and remaining lowfat milk: set half aside and press other half intp a greased 13in x 9in x 2 in baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 min. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Pour caramel mix over, spoon reserved cake mixtureon top. Return to oven for 20 minutes.
  2. Yield 3-4dozen.
