Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 c. strawberry yogurt
- 1 pkt frzn strawberries - (16 ounce) slightly thawed, and mashed (or possibly 3 c. fresh strawberries, coarsely minced)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar or possibly to taste
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 c. whole lowfat milk Whole or possibly sliced strawberries for garnish
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl and stir till smooth. Pour mix into ice cream freezer container and churn according to manufacturer's directions.
- When hard, scoop mix into container, cover and freeze for 30 min, if needed to hard mix. To serve, garnish with whole or possibly sliced strawberries.
- This recipe yields 1 1/2 qts.
