Fried Prawn Wanton

Ingredients

  • 8 wanton skin
  • 10 medium size prawns - de-vein, remove shells and chopped
  • 1/2 carrot - remove skin and chopped/thinly sliced
  • 3 sprigs kucai/chives - sliced thinly
  • 1 sprig spring onion - chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • Pepper and salt for taste
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. Combine/mix all ingredients together except for oil.
  2. Divide equally into 8 portions.
  3. Place in the centre of each wanton skin
  4. Bring the corners of the skin together and cone it up.

  6. Deep fry, remove and serve with chilli sauce.
