Fried Oyster Sandwich

Makes a great lunch or light supper. Using fresh oysters are best!

Goes Well With: cole slaw, potato salad

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Fresh Oysters
  • one egg
  • 1/4 scant cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
  • Chopped lettuce
  • One 6 " sub roll

Directions

  1. Dip fresh oysters in egg wash and roll in bread crumbs, using a deep fryer drop beaded oysters into hot oil and fry until cooked through and golden brown, use paper towels to drain excess oil
  2. Slice open sub roll, add Thousand Island Dressing to the top of bun, add lettuce and breaded oysters.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
