Ingredients
- Cinnamon Tea Cake
- 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 x egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter, extra
- 1 Tbsp. sugar, extra
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Have butter and egg at room temperature. Cream butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla till light and creamy. Stir in sifted flour and lowfat milk, beat lightly till smooth. Spread mix into well-greased 8-inch cake pan. Bake in 375 degrees oven 15 to 20 min. Turn onto wired rack, brush top with extra melted butter, sprinkle with combined extra sugar and cinnamon. Serve hot with butter.
