Ingredients
- 8 slc French bread, sliced on the bias
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1/2 c. Heavy cream
- 1/4 c. Grand Marnier
- 3 Tbsp. Peach preserves
- 1/4 tsp Fresh grated nutmeg
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- 3 c. Fresh peaches sliced
- 1 c. Maple syrup

Fresh Peach French Toast
Servings: 4
Directions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Large eggs, cream and half of the grand mariner. Whip well. Add in the peach preserves and nutmeg and mix till the preserves blend.
- 2. Place the bread in a casserole in a single layer and pour over the batter. Chill for several hrs.
- 3. Heat a large skillet till warm. Add in the butter and when it is warm add in the soaked bread and brown well on both sides.
- 4. Meanwhile in a sauce pan, add in the peaches, Grand Marnier and syrup. Simmer for 2-3 min. Serve the peach syrup over the French toast.
- 5. Serve at once.
