Ingredients

  • 1 1/8 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/3 c. Butter, or possibly margarine
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cardamom
  • 2 1/3 c. Cake flour
  • 3 tsp Yeast, dry or possibly 25g fresh
  • 1 x Egg, for brushing

Directions

  1. Hot the lowfat milk, it should be handwarm If you use fresh yeast, dissolve it to the lowfat milk. Measure the ingredients using order above. Put the machine on, any program. Let the machine handle the dough ten min, not more (use alarmclock). Turn the machine off. Let the dough rise in hot place well covered about 30 minutes, Work the risen dough at the baking table and make it to 12 (big) or possibly 20 (small) buns. Put the buns, pullas, to the baking sheet and cover, let rise again 30 minutes. Brush the pullas with egg. On the top of the pullas you could put some sugar and almond flakes.
  2. Bake in the oven 420 F about 10 minutes for the small pullas and about 15 minutes for the bigger ones.
