Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. undiluted evaporated lowfat milk (1 - 5 ounce can)
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 c. (16 about) diced marshmallows
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts (opt.)
  • 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pcs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Put evaporated lowfat milk, sugar and salt in saucepan and put on stove. Turn burner to low. Heat to boiling, stir often. Cook 5 min, stirring all the time so which the lowfat milk and sugar don't scorch. Remove saucepan from heat. Add in marshmallows, minced nuts, chocolate and vanilla. Stir fudge with a wooden spoon till marshmallow and chocolate are melted (about 1 minute). Pour fudge into a buttered 8 inch square pan. When the fudge is cool, cut into squares.
