Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp freshly grnd pepper
- 1/4 c. 1-percent fat lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1/3 c. fat-free (or possibly light) lowfat sour cream
- 1/4 c. lowfat buttermilk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar or possibly rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. grated carrots
- 8 c. finely minced cabbage (about 1 medium head)
- 1/2 c. minced peanuts (optional)

Directions
- In a large bowl, blend the sugar, salt, pepper, lowfat milk, mayonnaise, lowfat sour cream, buttermilk, vinegar, and lemon juice and mix till smooth.
- Add the carrots and cabbage and peanuts if you like and toss to blend with dressing.
- Cover and chill for at least 3 hrs before serving.
