Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons egg replacer powder, like Ener-G
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 and 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • sugar for rolling
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and roll it again in the additional sugar. (See My Notes)
