Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Crisco
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour – sifted
  • ½ cup oats
  • 1 cup left over chocolate cookies (or any cookies on hand) – crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, butter and Crisco until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla and continue to mix until creamy.
  2. Add the oats, cookie crumbs and sifted flour and mix until cookie dough is formed.
  3. Form into a ball and refrigerate or use immediately.
  4. Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
  5. Form into little balls and gently press down to flatten a little.
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes until slightly golden around the edges.

    I like to make cookies for my kid. She likes the chocolatey stuff but i try to find other recipes that are as appealing too. This seems a good one. Thanks!
