Directions

  1. Combine water and salt, bring to a boil. Stir in grits, cover and cook over low heat 20 to 30 min or possibly till done. Combine remaining ingredients. Add in a small amount of warm grits to egg mix, stirring well, stir egg mix into remaining grits. Spoon mix into well greased 3 qt casserole. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Yield 10 servings.

    They are easy to make and delicious. Put a small can of diced Ortega chiles in, and it is a quick and easy meal to serve with a salad.
