I just love good ol' lemonade and Southern sweet iced tea, so combining the two (1/2 lemonade & 1/2 iced tea to make one drink) was a brilliant idea of Arnold Palmer.

However, this one is "kicked-up a notch"....there's still lemonade in it, but in place of the regular sweet iced tea, I'm using Sweet Tea Vodka. Still refreshing & tasty as ever, the only thing is...you don't taste the vodka so be careful!

Ingredients

Cost per serving $1.52 view details
  • 1 bottle (fifth) Sweet Tea Vodka, chilled*
  • 64 oz. Lemonade, chilled
  • Ice cubes (**see note)
  • Lemon slices or wedges, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the chilled sweet tea vodka and lemonade; stir until well blended. Pour into ice filled glasses, garnish with a lemon slice or wedge. Enjoy!
  2. NOTES: * I like to chill both the sweet tea vodka and the lemonade so you're not diluting the drink with countless ice cubes. There are several brands of sweet tea vodkas on the market now, so you can take your pick. I prefer Jeremiah Weed, but I’ve also used the Seagram's brand.
  3. ** When I have time, I freeze lemonade with lemon slices in ice trays ahead of time and use them for this drink (and others). That way other than additional lemonade, there's no diluting of the drink.
  4. Makes approximately 6-8 drinks (In a 10 oz. Highball Glass = 6 drinks, in a 8 oz. Rocks/Old-Fashioned Glass = 8 drinks)
  5. TO MAKE ONE DRINK: 3 oz. Sweet Tea Vodka, 3 oz. Lemonade.....Fill a shaker with ice. Pour in the ingredients & shake vigorously so it's well blended. Strain into an ice filled Rocks glass and garnish with a lemon wedge.
