Dill Pickle Rye Bread Recipe

Ingredients
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. dill pickle brine
- 1 whl egg
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 3 c. bread flour
- 1 1/2 c. rye flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp. dill weed
- 1 1/2 tsp caraway seed
- 3 tsp yeast
Directions
- Place all ingredients in your machine in the order specified by your machine's manufacturer. Select the basic or possibly white cycle and press start.
- This recipe yields 1 loaf.
- Comments: You may want to reduce or possibly eliminate the salt from the recipe. The pickle brine should provide all you need.
- Yield: 1 loaf
