  • 1 (1 3/8 ounce.) env. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (5-6 lb.) chuck, sirloin tip or possibly shoulder roast
  • 5 med. potatoes, cut in pcs
  • 5 carrots, cut in pcs

Directions

  1. Combine soup mix, mushroom soup, water and pepper. Place roast in a Dutch oven, add in soup mix. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 2 hrs. Add in vegetables. Cook 45 min. 10 to 12 servings.
