  • 15 sliced and pared apples
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. cooking tapioca
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Pastry for 1 pie

Directions

  1. Combine apples, sugar, salt and tapioca. Turn into a casserole (or possibly 8 inch square baking dish) and dot with butter. Cover with pie crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 to 40 min.
