Directions

  1. In a large skillet, saute/fry onions in 4 Tbsp. of the butter till transparent. Remove onions and set aside. Heat remaining butter in the skillet. sprinkle salmon steaks with flour, salt, pepper and a generous amount of curry pwdr (use less if you prefer a milder flavor). Saute/fry steaks, turning once till they break at the touch of a fork. Remove to a hot serving platter.
  2. Return onions to skillet. Add in 1 Tbsp. curry pwdr and mix well. Gradually stir in the lowfat sour cream. Heat sauce but don't allow to boil. Pour sauce over steaks and serve immediately.
