St. Patrick's Day Beef Stew with Guinness by John SpottiswoodThis is a great Beef Stew adapted from a recipe by Margaret Johnson. We doubled the recipe, used about half the butter, and added plenty of salt and black pepper. We also cooked it about 5 hours ahead of time and let it sit in the pot for another 3 hours after it was done cooking. It was awesome. |

Beef Brisket cooked in a NuWave Oven by Debbie Jo MitchellCooking brisket requires marinating the beef prior to cooking. Use an acid-based marinade (made with tomato, lemon, or vinegar) to allow the meat to tenderize while cooking. |

Skinny Irish Pub Beef Stew for St. Patrick’s Day by Skinny Kitchen with Nancy FoxThis peasant style stew is so hearty and perfect to make for St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve made a skinny version by using lean beef, carrots, onions and potatoes but also adding sweet potatoes. These potatoes add a lovely natural sweetness to this savory stew. Plus, adding Guinness beer and beef stock creates an amazing and delicious base.… |

My Corned Beef and Cabbage by LinKevThis is one of my husband's favorite and his family too. When I first married my Irish husband he liked everything plain like the corned beef, roast beef, chicken soup. One day I decided to spice them all. Now they are his favorite meals. Corned Beef & Cabbage with a Tangy Glaze by FoodiewifeWho doesn't like to make Corned Beef & Cabbage around St. Patrick's Day? What makes this recipe just a little bit unique is that the brisket is slowly cooked (in a Dutch Oven or a Slow Cooker) in the liquid and spice packet. Corned Beef Reubens with Myra's Comeback Salad Dressing by Bob VincentI had leftover corned beef from St Patrick's day so I decided to make Swedish Rye Bread and make Reubens. I also liked the sound of Myra Byanka's Comeback Salad Dressing so this seemed like a nice opportunity to try it. The link to her dressing is provided. I served these tasty Reubens along side an easy to make Tomato soup. |
