My version of Nigella's Chocohotpot by Padma Priya ManikamThis is a dessert made by British chef Nigella and I have made it several times varrying a little. The original recipe calls for 4 ramikens but I bake mine in a rectangle oven-proof dish. I also use Van Houten's cooking chocolate. Below is the recipe adapted by me and for the original recipe kindly refer to the web link. |

In my definition, scones are something between cookie and a muffin, the crumbly outer texture reminds of cookie and softer interior is more like muffin. |

Moist Chocolate Cake by KyaoraWhen it comes to baking, puddings and desserts -barring biscuits-, I’m pretty much a disaster, but I’ve pledged to improve this by practising. There always seems to be something wrong with what comes out, it’s either too dry, too moist, too chewy, funny tasting… I’ve finally managed to bake a cake from scratch that is light and… |

Swedish Chololate Cake by KorinnaUsually this includes a lot of additional eggs, sugar and butter but no flour - which makes it good as well but somewhat richer. I changed the recipe as i could not be bothered to whip the egg whites and care for the batter to cool down in order to add the yolks. So i went for a little four instead and gave it a try. What a treat! I… |
