  • 2 x Mild onions
  • 2 lrg Cucumbers Salt Water
  • 1/2 c. Tarragon vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Dairy lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Tarragon vinegar Chives, minced, garnish

Directions

  1. Peel onions and cucumbers, and cut into wafer-thin slices. Cover with salted ice-water and let stand in refrigerator for several hrs. Drain, and add in 1/4 c. water, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Cucumber-Onion Salad With Sour-Cream Dressing. After draining vegetables in recipe above, add in 1/2 c. dairy lowfat sour cream and 1/2 c. tarragon vinegar.
  3. Garnish with minced chives.
