Crockpot Pork and Pineapple Polynesian Style

Ingredients

  • 1 can of pineapple rings or chunks with juice
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice canned or fresh
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced lengthwise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of cooked white rice

Crockpot Pork and Pineapple Polynesian Style

Amazing how quick and easy this dish is. Boil some white rice and viola a delicious meal when you come home from a long days work!

4 to 6 boneless pork loin chops.

  • 1 can of pineapple rings or chunks with juice
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice canned or fresh
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced lengthwise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of cooked white rice

In a oil sprayed or (lined with disposable bags) crockpot, add pork, pineapple, sugar and peppers and spices. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Boil 2 cups of white rice. Pour pork chop mixture over rice and serve.

    We really enjoyed this recipe. I used thiner porkchops and cooked it on low for 2 1/2 hours. Turned out tender a flavorful served over steamed white rice.
