Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat macaroni, cooked
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 3 1/2 ounces Gouda cheese, sliced thinly
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup half and half

Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese
Time: 20 minutes prep, 2 hours cook
Servings: 6 servings
Directions
- Cook the macaroni and drain. Spray the inside of the crock pot with cooking spray. Place 1 cup of the macaroni on the bottom. On this layer place 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup Swiss cheese, half the Gouda cheese and 2 tablespoons butter. Place the last 1 cup of macaroni on top of this cheese layer and put the remaining cheese and butter on top of this. Pour the half and half over the entire mixture. Cook on low for 2 1/2 hours. Makes 6 servings.

Summary
Cheese and pasta, always the perfect combination in my mind and two foods that I think of when I want a comfort food. I have been determined for a while to make the perfect macaroni and cheese in the crock pot. This my friends has been achieved, creamy, tasty, tangy, easy and satisfying!
