This recipe was given to me by a friend and I have since found that there are quite a few variations of this around on the web. I added some onions to his version and here’s how I made it in my crock pot!

Ingredients

  • 2 10.5 ounce cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 2 pounds cube steak
  • 1 1.25 ounce package onion soup mix
  • 2 large onions cut in rings

Directions

  1. Spread one can of soup in the bottom of a crock pot.
  2. Top with half of the cube steak.
  3. Sprinkle with half of the soup mix.
  4. Top with the remaining cube steak.
  5. Sprinkle the second half of the soup mix on top of the steak.
  6. Top with the second can of soup.
  7. Top with the onions.
  8. Cook on low for 6 hours.
