Croatian Chicken With Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 lg. fryer chicken
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1 pound sliced mushrooms
  • Juice of half lemon
  • 1 tbsp. minced parsley
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Croatian Chicken With Sour Cream

Directions

  1. Wash chicken and cut into pcs. Season with salt and pepper. Heat butter over medium heat. Fry the chicken in warm butter till golden brown on all sides. Place in a well greased baking dish. Add in flour to butter and cook approximately one minute. Add in lemon juice, mushrooms, paprika, and lowfat sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Pour this sauce over the fried chicken. Sprinkle with parsley. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for about three quarters of an hour till chicken is very tender. Serves 6.
