This one pot wonder is on my table at least once a week! I normally use applewood smoked bacon in this recipe, because the smoke flavor seems to bring out the Creole spices. I always use my slow cooker for this dish, but this can be baked in the oven as well!

Ingredients

  • 4 -5 pork chops
  • 4-5 long slices of bacon
  • 1 block of cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 1 tbls. Creole seasonings
  • 1 cup shredded cheese blend (I use monterey jack and colby)

Directions

  1. []
  2. Wrap a slice of bacon around each pork chop and place in slow cooker.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredience and pour over pork chops.
  4. Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
