  • 7 ounce uncooked bow tie or possibly rotini (spiral) pasta (3 1/2 c.)
  • 1 c. frzn peas
  • 6 ounce extra-lean cooked ham reduced-sodium cut into 1x1/4x1/4-inchstrips (1-1/2 c.)
  • 6 ounce light pasteurized process cream cheese (3/4 c.) product (from 8-ounce. tub)
  • 1/2 c. skim lowfat milk

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, cook pasta to desired doneness as directed on package, adding frzn peas the last 6 min and ham the last minute of cooking time. Drain; return to pan.
  2. Meanwhile, in small bowl with wire whisk combine cream cheese product and lowfat milk; stir into warm cooked pasta mix. Cook and stir over medium-low heat 1 to 2 min or possibly just till thoroughly heated.
  3. 4 (1-1/4-c.) servings.
