Creamy Fresh Herb Salad Dressing Recipe
I have a small herb garden in the summer and frequently make this for my customers.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2 tbs. heavy cream
- 1 tbs. mixed fresh herbs, chopped
- 1-2 scallions, chopped, white and green parts, or 1 small shallot, minced
- 1/8 tsp. celery seed
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 1/2 tbs. white wine vinegar or juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp. Dijon or Colman's mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
- Process in a blender until smooth.
- Refrigerate overnight.
