Ingredients

  • 1 pkt brownie mix (family size)
  • 1/4 c. butter - 4 Tablespoons (at room temp.)
  • 1 x 8-ounce. pkg. cream cheese (at room temp.)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 2 tsp flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c. nuts minced

Directions

  1. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions adding 1/2 c. nuts.
  2. in a small bowl beat creeam cheese and butter together till blended.
  3. Beat in sugar. Add in Large eggs, flour, vanilla and beat. reserve.
  4. Spread half of pprepared brownie fold in 13 by 9 inch pan. Proportionately spread reserved cream cheese mix oveer it, tilting pan and letting it run to all sides works wwell. Dot with remaining brownie mix. At one corner off pan insert knife (only through cream cheese mix) and make 4 zig zag marks across surface; rotate pan 1/4 turn and reepeat zig zagging. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven till cake testeer inserted in center comes out clean-about 25 min. Cold completely on a wire rack. Refrigeratebefore cutting in squares and removing. Store covered in refrigerator.
