Ingredients

  • 1 x Frzn hash browns ( 1.5 lb), julienned or possibly cubed
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt Lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Onion, chopped or possibly minced
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper (black)
  • 2 c. Cornflakes, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted

Directions

  1. Defrost hash browns. Combine next 7 ingredients and mix with hash browns.
  2. Pour all in a 13x9 dish. Saute/fry cornflakes in butter and sprinkle on top.
  3. Cover and bake at 350F for about 40 minutes.
  4. For heart conscious individuals cut the cheese by half and use low fat lowfat sour cream, low fat margarine, and low fat cheese.
