Miniature pecan pies pretty much sums up the flavor but these are even better. I don’t care for pecan pie as it is too sweet for me. However this portion controlled delicate golden brown crust filled with a gooey pecan filling is just right.

This pie tastes and looks amazingly like a real apple pie! I have made it several times for friends and family, and surprised them when I told them it was crackers! If you don't crush or mix the crackers, then when it is baked and cut, it looks like layers of apples in each slice.
