Brett & Bart's favorite spaghetti by jeanne templemanThis is an old Italian recipe that I've been cooking for 30 years, and my boys and husband all love it. I got this from my good friend and extraordinary cook Jeannie Puente. The trick for the old Italian flavor is that you cook it for 2 days in a crockpot. I don't leave it on at night for safety. Delicious! |

Spinach and Sausage Gnocchi by John SpottiswoodThis is a delicious and beautiful dish. We just served it for a normal weeknight meal, but the presentation is such that it would be good for entertaining. It's rich, so good to serve with a green salad with vinaigrette. |

Gnocchi by J. Gino GenovesiIf you have never had gnocchi, you are in for a great dish. I refer to my dish as Gnocchi even though the dough contains no potatoes.. Many areas refer to this dish as Cavetelli. What ever they are called, they are a superior meal. When ever my children come home or during Easter and Christmas, this is what they ask for.… |

Pasta with Fresh Red Peppers by Barbara Ann DayThis recipe serves as a healthy main dish. It is very low calorie but still a comfort food. I often put leftover vegetables in this recipe, other than what is called for. This is adapted from a Jenny Craig recipe |

Skinny Thai Chicken and Peanut Noodles by Skinny Kitchen with Nancy FoxI love any kind of Asian noodle dish, especially a Thai one that includes peanut butter. Good news too: Peanut butter is heart healthy. It’s very filling and satisfying when added to a noodle dish. The red pepper flakes add just the right amount of spice. The skinny for each fiber rich serving is 290 calories, 8 grams of fat, 7 grams… |

Stir fry vermicelli and dried clams by BestOodlesI must confess we often cook this dish after we have leftover mohinger not because I cooked lots of vermicelli rather we ate only mohinger soup with my split pea fry. So I am left with plain, already cooked vermicelli . . . well, my reluctance to throw out food is how this dish came about. If you do not want or do not like pungent… |

Pasta with Greens and Feta Cheese by Lindsey FordSimple, tasty recipe that the whole family will like. Instead of spinach, greens could include arugula, watercress or endive. For a more substantial meal, add shredded chicken. |
