Baked Caramel Corn by Jane Evans BonacciOriginal recipe from Jiffy Pop Popcorn. The trick to this recipe is to stir the caramel until the sugar is dissolved and then don’t touch it again until you turn it out of the pan. Stirring brings any undissolved sugar crystals down into the mixture and the whole thing will crystallize again. |

Quick and Easy Fresh Cherry Pie by David MartinWith the abundance of summer fruit, I regularly make pies. We are particularly fond of cherry pie and as such I've developed a quick and easy method when I don't have the time for my fully homemade version. If you don't tell your guests they will not realize you didn't spend hours on it. But when time permits, I make it all from… |

Canned Apple Pie Filling/ Apple Crisp by J. Gino GenovesiApples are a very versatile fruit. Apples are used in many pastries, pies and salads. I think apples are used more in pies than in other way. . It save lots of time to have a "done" product for use. This canned recipe is both economical and good. Try this recipe and let me know if you like it. |

Toll House Cookie Pie by A Culinary Journey with Chef DennisOne of my favorite desserts, so simple to make, yet so rich is a Toll House Cookie Pie. It's even fun just saying it!! It can be made with or with out the nuts, but the nuts do tend to add to the body of the pie. Serve it still a little warm with fresh whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.....now that's down home… |

Zucchini Chocolate Cake by Salad FoodieIf there's a most-requested recipe for my year this would be it. Mini-chocolate chips and chopped pecans serve as the "frosting" for this cake. I like to make this a day or night ahead, because I like the mini-chips to harden but if you like them soft and a little gooey, serve the same day. |

Strawberry and Rhubarb Tapioca Pudding by Salad FoodieA delightful tapioca pudding for a special occasion. So ruby-red pretty, and with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, you'll think you died and went to heaven. If fresh rhubarb is not available substitute frozen, and mash or cut up after simmering if necessary. |

Grammy's Oil Pastry (from Betty Crocker) by Victoria PrehnMy recipe seems to be a bit modified from others I see on-line. The quantities I use are for a double crust, but for me, it's always been the perfect amount to make just one crust, plus a little extra. Grammy always used the extra to make cinnamon crust rolls for us kids upon arrival (dough with butter, cinnamon and sugar) |

Seven Up Lemon Jello Trifle by Marilyn LesniakThis recipe has been passed down for four generations in my family. I have made it for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter since my mom passed. I always am requested to make this dish for every family get together. I always have made this as a trifle until this year when my dish was being used already. I put it in a 9x11 glass dish… |
