Roasted spicy chicken wings with goat cheese dip

Roasted spicy chicken wings with goat cheese dip by Micheline

These wings taste better than at the restaurant and are healthier. People are always surprised to find out that my chicken wings can be so delicious when roasted instead of fried. I serve them with a goat cheese dip (less fat) instead of the traditional blue cheese dip with celery and carrot sticks.

Halloween Candy Corn Fruit Cups

Halloween Candy Corn Fruit Cups by Robyn Savoie

Halloween is right around the corner. That means the ghouls and goblins in your neighborhood will be looking for sweet treats. Here's a great snack that I came across to help cut those calories. The picture shows a whipped cream topping but I like to use Greek Vanilla Yogurt.

My Homemade Apple Butter with Apple Schnapps

My Homemade Apple Butter with Apple Schnapps by Robyn Savoie

Two autumn standards, pumpkin and apple. I joined Schnapps Liquor with apple in this lovely spread. Apple Schnapps really adds a surprising element to this. This spread is wonderful on toast, pancakes, waffles and in pumpkin pie! I might experiment one of these days and see how it would work in traditional apple pie

Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cookies

Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cookies by Chef Roach

This is a soft cookie and very good. Sometimes I add a dash of Pumpkin Pie Spice but not always. Very good for people who are allergic to eggs or just don't want all the regular things that go into cookies. Very easy and kid friendly, too.

Kids Candy Sushi

Kids Candy Sushi by Denise Sherin

I have seen versions of this on the internet, so here was my attempt at Candy sushi. I made this for my son's birthday party to go along with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed food. The kids loved it! Parents did too. It's something fun kids can help make and create their own.

Delicious and Nutritious Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Delicious and Nutritious Roasted Pumpkin Seeds by Skinny Kitchen with Nancy Fox

One of the fondest memories for many of us growing up is roasting pumpkin seeds. It’s a wonderful tradition after removing them from the pumpkin you’ve just craved. They’re subtly sweet and nutty. Not only are they a tasty snack, pumpkin seeds are one of the most nutritious and flavorful seeds. My favorite way is to roast them with…
