Ingredients
- 500g minced beef
- 1 onion,finely chopped
- 150ml beef stock,using a beef stock cube
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 4 tsp gravy granules
- salt and pepper to taste
- 7-8 potatoes,chopped

Cottage Pie
Time: 15 minutes prep, 1 hours cook

Directions
- Put the potatoes into a large pan,fill with water to cover and boil them for about 30 mins.
- Meanwhile,fry the mince with the onions until the beef has browned.
- Add the beef stock,tomato ketchup,worcerstershire sauce,mixed herbs and parsley,give it a good stir.
- Leave to simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Then add the gravy granules (this will help to thicken the mixture) and add seasoning to suit your taste.
- Place the beef mince mixture into a greased ovenproof dish.
- When the potatoes have cooked,drain and mash them.
- Spread the mashed potato on top of the beef mixture and bake in a preheated oven for 30 mins.
