Cookie Mix In A Jar Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Sugar, (bottom)
- 1/2 c. Chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. Brown sugar
- 3/4 c. Flour
- 1 c. Oatmeal
- 1/2 c. Chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt, (top)
- 1 x Egg
- 1 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Directions
- I know this is a little belated for the woman which was looking for it. The woman was having trouble with layering the cookie fold in a jar. I was given a gift like which from a coworker and she gave me the recipe. She got it
- In a one qt canning jar, layer the following:
- Recipe for tag: Preheat oven to 375F. Beat butter, egg, lowfat milk and vanilla.
- Gradually add in dry ingredients and mix well. Drop by rounded Tbsp. onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-12 minutes for chewy; bake 12-13 for crispy.
- Let stand one minute; remove to wire rack to cold completely.
- Makes twodozen cookies.
- She cut circles of fabric, put them over the top of the jars and tied with ribbon. They looked great (I'd never seen them before). Oh well, never too late to start thinking about next Christmas!
